Golang Job: Lead Golang Engineer

We are looking to hire a founding Lead Back Engineer who is a partner and less of a task taker. This is a very critical role for the success of nucash. You’ll do on a daily basis :

• Work closely with the CEO/Product Owner, Head of Design, and other backend engineers
• Design highly scalable and resilient backend architecture
• Ensure we follow engineering best practices as a part of our development practice
• Build CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of the microservices
• Participate in daily standups
• Partner with product and design in coming up with the best solution
• Timely delivery of services and ensure high uptime

To be successful you’ll need to have good knowledge of:

• Golang
• Docker/Kubernetes
• RESTful API
• Postgres Aurora
• AWS managed services
• Kafka Queues
• Async processing
• EFK stack (Elastic Search, Fluentd, Kibana)

You’ll be an ideal candidate if you know how to:

• Build scalable architecture
• Knowledge of Go templating, common frameworks, and tools
• Worked in a fintech startup
• Strong analytical skills
